Returns On Apparel, Shoes, Fine Jewelry & Watches
To return apparel (except swimwear), shoes, belts, jewelry or watches you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) within 14 days of the shipment date and return the item(s) within 21 days of the shipment date.

To request an RMA number, go to My Purchases in My Account, click the order number and simply click Create Return. You will receive an email confirming the details of your request, including full instructions for returning your merchandise. You can track your return in the My Purchases section of your account.

Once we receive your return in our warehouse, please allow up to five business days to process your return, plus another 5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your credit card statement. We will notify you by email once we have received and processed your return. Once completed, we will refund your card or issue you The RealReal site credit. Please note, card refunds may take up to five (5) business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. For returns within the U.S., we will provide a prepaid FedEx label. If you choose to use the prepaid label, $11.95 will be deducted from your refund amount.

Returns On Art

Final Sale Items
Handbags, swimwear, luggage, and items sold in our end-of-month Real Big Sale are FINAL SALE, and no returns will be accepted. All items that fall outside of our return policy are eligible for re-consignment. Click here to learn more about consigning your items with The RealReal.
